Augusta Green employs a Landscape Architect to assist residential and commercial customers with their design needs.

We can design landscaping for a new home, add new features to existing landscaping, or provide a complete landscape renovation for an existing home. Our architect has the ability to design simple plantings, as well as more complex ones, including hardscapes. A hardscape design might include brick pavers, retaining walls, firepits and fireplaces, and outdoor kitchens. When a person utilizes our installation service to complete the design work, there is no charge for the design service.

Augusta Green can install our designs or ones that a customer already has. We can install one tree or a truck load of trees. Either way, we offer the same professional installation and warranties.

On a year to year basis all good landscaping will need to be maintained. Spring clean up is a must in order to get plant beds looking good for the remainder of the year. This can include hedge trimming, removal of dead winter debris, and mulching. Other services can be added too. Sometimes our customers want a new plant for the upcoming year, new annuals, or even new bed lines. If want to make your plant beds look new again, call us and we can match our services to meet your needs.

Augusta Green will maintain plant beds and keep them looking like new all year long. We start by redefining bed edges, trimming shrubs, removing all dead plant debris, applying a pre-emergent herbicide, and then hand placing a dye-enhanced hardwood mulch. Customers may choose cheaper mulch than Augusta Green provides. We do not recommend the cheaper product because it will oxidize and turn gray, while the dye-enhanced mulch retains its nice brown color. We serve the Indianapolis market as well as Carmel, Greenfield, Greenwood, Plainfield, and all other surrounding communities. Many customers will bundle this service with our lawn mowing service. This demands greater accountability on our behalf and greater pricing benefits for our customers.

Many of our irrigation services are contracted to a fully qualified irrigation company. Though we contract most of this service, we pass the cost directly through to our customers. This allows us to provide a turn-key operation for our customers without greater expenses. Augusta Green is a one stop shop for all grounds maintenance. We have the ability to serve the greater Indianapolis market as well as Greenwood, Carmel, Fishers, Greenfield, and Plainfield.

Fertilizing and weed control are an integral part of any healthy lawn. Our basic program is a five step process of granular fertilizer and liquid herbicide. Since every lawn is a little different a licensed professional examines your lawn for any specific needs prior to treatment. Other services like grub control, fungicides and extra fall applications are also available. No lawn is too big or too small. We have treated 4000 square foot lawns and properties with many acres.

Augusta Green provides commercial mowing for the Indianapolis area and the surrounding communities. We treat each commercial lawn as if it is our own. We will mow according to the customer's specifications, or we can make a site-specific recommendation. Every site is mowed, groomed, and thoroughly cleaned before our crews leave. No grass clippings are left on streets or sidewalks. Sidewalk edging is performed with a mechanical edger, not a weed trimmer. Mowing sounds easy, but the really good lawns have a great amount of attention to detail.

Mowing the tough stuff is not a glamorous job, but sometimes we have to do the dirty work, too. If you have an area that has grown out of control, let us attack it with a flail mower. We can mow a lot of things that are beyond the reach and capacity of a normal mower.

Properties must be maintained in the winter season as well as the summer season. Augusta Green offers snow removal and ice melt applications for residential communities as well as commercial sites. Many contract options are available so please call and we will assist to meet your winter needs.

Augusta Green knows that erosion and water runoff is a huge issue with local governments. We provide erosion services that satisfy the requirements of the local authorities with silt fence and straw matting. Construction sites that need protection, or runoff swales particularly benefit from this service.

Augusta Green has the ability to final grade construction sites prior to seeding, sodding, etc. The best lawns are the ones that have been graded properly before the seed or sod has ever been laid. We grade lawns, common areas, swales or any other area that needs detailed attention.

Many new homes require us to bury downspouts in order to direct water runoff as far from the home as possible. However, many existing homes benefit from the same service. Channeling water away from the foundation lowers the possibility of water damage and basement flooding.
